PUBG Mobile again gets updates routine weekly. In the update version 0.17.0, Tencent again presents a “Hardcore” mode, where players can feel the level of difficulty of the game is higher than usual.
Broadly speaking, in hardcore mode the player is required to play “manually”, starting from the process of opening the door to picking up loot items. Tencent also eliminates various features that normally help players, such as the sound of enemy footsteps, directions from where the bullet was fired and notification of approaching vehicles.
Players who feel challenged can access this mode through Arcade mode. Previously, Hardcore mode itself was already present through an update held by Tencent in 2018. Tencent also presents some of the latest features that can facilitate players who are in action on the battlefield.
“Death Replay” for example, this feature is able to show a replay of events to players before they are defeated. In other words, the player can see his perspective from the enemy’s perspective as he tries to defeat the player. Then there is the “Universal Marks”, a marker that can be placed on a supply, vehicle, death crate, or in a place.
The aim is to simplify the process of teamwork. Players can also find the “Colorblind” mode which is now available in the Settings menu. By activating this mode, players can change the color of the indicator, such as the color of bomb smoke. Through this update Tencent also added a new shotgun type weapon named DBS.
It is known that this weapon is very powerful for close combat. DBS can hold 14 bullets and can fire two bullets at a time. Tencent also gave prizes of 50 silver, 2,888 BP and a three-day Pan Skin Anniversary for players who made updates to the latest version before March 6, 2020.
To be able to get a series of prizes above, PUBG Mobile players can download an update measuring 1.69GB for Android and 1.95GB on iOS, as compiled from GameSpot.
